Hey guys, I've filed this as a MathEd bug (it's a habit), but it may in fact be something to do with the footnote. And yes, that's my expert opinion. ;)
Bug 2083: Moving upward out of a formula in Itemise to a line with a footnote causes a crash Description: When creating a list using Itemise (Itemize), if I create a formula on a line below another line with a collapsed footnote (that is to say, it only says 'Footnote', the contents are hidden) and attempt to move upwards out of the formula, LyX crashes (with appended CLI output).
