I've been playing with the KDVI sources recently and there the initial migration to Qt4, using the Q3ScrollView et al stuff seems almost automatic. In other words, we should be able to manage the migration to "real" Qt4 so that we can address each dialog, the menubars, toolbars and the main LyX screen in isolation. -- Angus
