Perhaps it may be a little more informative to notice that, having
added c:\lyx-1.4\bin to the path, tex2lyx exits stating:
Unable to determine the system directory having searched
C:/LyX-1.4/bin../Resources/lyx/
Try the '-sysdir' command line parameter...
I fixed it adding the '-sysdir c:/lyx-1.4/bin/../Resources/lyx/'
option. However, tex2lyx still reports the other error, namely,
Creating file c:/usr/c:/usr/filename.lyx
Could not open file "c:/usr/c:/usr/filename.lyx" for writing.
Apparently, besides the repeated current_path, there is some slash
missing somewhere...
