What is important is to check what happens with a normally optimized build, especially with --disable-stdlib-debug. This is for example the cause of bug 1922: http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1922#c11 Could you try that? I really think stdlib-debug should not be on by default in cvs build, since it gives a false impression of the speed. JMarc
