We (I) have updated the documents so that someone who does not have python installed can still see all the documents shipped with lyx (~ 160 FWIW). Notice also that I am fine tuning the retroversion so that we don't get ERT for supported stuff in 1.3 and 1.4. The only place where the convertion is failing is the paragraph parameters that become insets in 1.4 (newline, vspace and newpage). This is the goal for 1.3.7.
