If a different layout is intended, look for latex package (or command) "indentfirst". (As you are not the first to consider this a bug, a solution is already at hand. Also, remember that LyX is wysiwym, i.e. the (in your oppinion) correct behaviour might be already present in the printed (or exported) output but not on screen. Guenter -- G.Milde web.de
