If you are arriving to Charles de Gaulle airport (Roissy)
-----------------------------------------------------------

The fastest solution is probably to use the train (RER B, noted with a
blue circled B), as explained here:
http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/AccesAuxAeroports/AccesARoissy/EnTransportsEnCommuns/parisCDGtcommun.htm?

It will take you to "Gare du Nord", from which you can either walk
(1.6km) or take the metro line 4 (in circle) in direction of "Porte de
Clignancourt". You can then leave at Chateau Rouge and then go along
"Rue Custine" for 50 meter and turn left into Rue de Clignancourt.
52bis will be on your left.

It has to be noted that the north suburb of Paris is not the nicest
one and that you may not like the train ride :) [I do not think there
any security issue, though]

In this case, a different way to leave CDG Airport is to use the
Roissybus:
http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/AccesAuxAeroports/AccesARoissy/EnTransportsEnCommuns/Les+bus+pour+Paris+Charles+de+Gaulle+au+depart+de+Paris.htm?

You should then stop at Place Charles de Gaulle-Etoile, have a look at
Arc de Triomphe and then take the metro line 2 in direction of Nation
[note that the is a line 6 that goes to Nation too, but this one goes
in the south of Paris...]. You can then stop at Barbes-Rochechouart
and follow boulevard Barbes on 50m and then Rue Christiani to Rue de
Clignancourt (see the map).

Of course, there is also the possibility of taking a taxi from either
Place de l'Etoile or Gare du Nord.

If you are arriving to Beauvais Airport:
-----------------------------------------

I think only Juergen V. is in this case, so all I will tell is to look
here:
http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com/bus.php?lang=eng

If you are arriving to Gare du Nord:
-----------------------------------

Just lookup the explanation in the CDG Airport section.

If you are arriving by car from Autoroute A1:
--------------------------------------------
(this is for Andreas)

When arriving to Paris, take the rightmost exit (something like
'Peripherique Exterieur' or 'Porte Maillot', I do not remember) and
take the first exit (Porte de clignancourt). Turn on the left and then
go straight ahead until you are in paris itself (after you have
crossed another big boulevard). You need then to find rue Hermel
(after a round place named 'Place Albert Kahn'). After you have crossed
a largish street (Rue Ordener) continue a bit and take Rue Ramey
slightly on the left. Continue this street until it finishes on Rue de
Clignancourt and then turn on the left.

It is possible to park you car for a short duration in front of my
building, but then we'll move it to the car park.

Of course, reading a map is better than trying to follow my
explanations :)
