That is a big problem indeed. Didn't it use to work?
Not with Qt/Win Free. It works with the Qt non-commercial that Ruurd used,
but I'm not going to do there.
Qt/Win Free used to support ALL relevant key combinations correctly
(mainly because I pushed Christian to fix it for me :-)).
But then someone asked for accents and the new Qt code broken almost all
special keys. Meanwhile Qt/Win Free supports Alt-foo again but important
shortcuts like CTRL+M, CTRL-Return, and CTRL+" still do not work.
AFAICS the Qt guys already started to backport some Qt 4 stuff.
