to the installer, which by default is clear. When selected, the pages
for all these additional components come up in the installer.
It seems better to me to have only one installer, which solves all problems.
To allow the use you suggest under Reconfigure, this installer can also
detect whether LyX is installed, and if so, just check for the
additional packages when run again. Alternatively, this mode can be
selected using a command line parameter to the installer.
