Ahh! Then at the very next step (Launch LyX) I get this:
"LyX wasn't able to find any layout description!
Check the contents of the file 'textclass.lst'
Sorry, has to exit"
I guess I'll look through the archive to see whether this has come up
already. But if someone knows a fix, please let me know!
cd C:\Program Files\LyX\Resources\lyx
<path to>\sh.exe configure --without-latex-config
Thereafter, try the latex configuration again ("sh configure") and see if
your latex problems continue.
