Make a new document with today's cvs. Set paragraph type to "bulleted list". Make a list with two entries and increase the depth of the second entry, like this:
* first - second
Now position the cursor on the first item and delete the text so it is empty.
Move the cursor down, and lyx goes boom! I guess the empty environment
got deleted - then something went wrong with the nested environment.
The same problem happens with the enumerate environment.
Then I tried "lyx-code" on the first line with an embedded "standard"
environment. Deleting the contents of lyx code caused no problems,
for lyx can legally be empty. So I provoked it by changing "lyx-code"
back to "standard".
This creates a double impossibility: * A std. environment cannot be empty, and * A std. environment cannot contain a nested std. environment.
Lyx went into a tight infinite loop after that - I had a hard time manouvering the mouse to another window so I could kill lyx myself.
