The same for me. With automake1.7 and the before-mentioned change in configure.ac, I managed to build tex2lyx. Added the debian-testing binary-tarball to the wiki http://wiki.lyx.org/LaTeX/LatexToLyx > I asked for this information in the INSTALL file. but I do not know if > someone made the change.
