Hi! In order to further improve my latest patch I'd like to ask for some directions:
Exportdata: Is it ok if I add another member "snippets" to this structure? How do I create external files in a new subdirectory? Previews: AFAIK I know this is used for maths, insetexternal and insetgraphics. Unfortunately Docbook export is quite different in these cases, eg. external templates have there own "docbook product". Docbook maths have alignment and label issues. Angus: Please have a look at the ForkedCalls in SnippetConversion. Is everything ok? Maybe I used a parameter which gets destructed prematurely? You told me to have a look at the error feedback from previews to LyX. What is supposed to happen: a detailed errormesssage? Statusline or messagebox? Dummy preview image, eg. "?" ? It looks as if the control flow is pretty indirect here... Can I extend legacy_lyxpreview to do something reasonable with other formats (ie. create PNG and use dvips for creating eps) Finally: Who is willing to commit the patch once it is ready? :-) Ciao /Andreas
