I suppose such debug stuff is only in the CVS repository. When a final release comes out, all debug options will be turned off, right? If so, then this problem is not a big deal; FreeBSD users who want to compile LyX-CVS, need to know that either the configure script must disable stdlib debugging, or one should upgrade to a newer version of the compiler in the ports collection.
