Hi Asger! Right now LyX has separate internal output methods for: * LyX * LaTeX / PdfLaTeX * LinuxDoc * Docbook / DocbookXML * ASCII Also there's a switch to an XML-based LyX format in the queue. In my opinion this should be combined with a reduction of output methods, preferably just to LyX/XML. Do you think you could wait until this is done before you implement another output method? Or, would it be possible to implement a LyX->Lout converter or Docbook/XML -> Lout converter which is external to LyX? (LyX can output Docbook/XML even without the Docbook-stuff installed if you trick configure with a dummy sgmltools binary) Cheers /Andreas
