  I use linux and I have installed:
zsh-4.2.0-3
pdksh-5.2.14-30
tcsh-6.13-9
bash-3.0-18
ash-0.3.8-20

  So what is your point? ;-)

  The correct term would be 'bash-ism' as there isn't any linux specific 
construct in the above error.

  We should make it work with sh, as it will then work in other posix 
systems, if that is what you mean. :-)
