In the meantime, about the space-in-prefix problem, I see two solutions: 1/ if sh.exe provides support for symlinks in win32, we could do something like ln -sf "$prefix" realprefix prefix=realprefix and then continue with the good old code. 2/ another solution is to use the DOS-style short names as Angus proposed, but I did not find a dos command that gives me this information (at least in windows Me).
