Hi Angus,

It's great to see that you're actually using this thing! Do you see the
drawing problems that I describe in my "Just for fun" mail too?

No, the splash screen looks nice and beautiful here, even after opening and closing some document. I am using the very latest MinGW (they have released a new api some days ago), and the very latest sources of Qt 3/Win Free and LyX 1.3.X.

However, I can confirm that the disabled menus are not visible at all. I don't consider this an error - it's just a different way of representation (which BTW makes it easier to detect bugs in LyX - I noticed that if you hightlight a word by double-clicking, it is not possible to cut the word afterwards)

The next tasks on my todo list are the inclusion of apell and aiksaurus. Unfortunately, I am not able to compile both tools out of the box with MinGW. And then, of course, there is the Qt DottedLine bug left...

Angus, you should also have a look at the console output of the configure script. When creating "./doc/LaTeXConfig.lyx", I get the following error message:

sed: file chkconfig.sed line 1: Unknown option to 's'

Doesn't look like a critical bug but maybe you have an idea what is going wrong.

Have a nice evening,

Michael
