'grep -A' is not POSIX. Tru64 Unix's version of grep, for example, doesn't recognize it. sed -n '/hyphenation patterns/{ :loop /loaded\.$/!{ $!{ N s/\n// tloop } } p }' chklatex.log > hyphenation.lst -- Angus
