BTW do you have an idea on how to restore the possibility for two optional arguments as discussed here? http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=724 I had a look at the code and I must confess that I didn't understand it. Two optional arguments are a must-have for memoir. Jürgen
