Actually my memory is slowly returning... there was also something with font 
attributes.
If you have a charstyle inset in a paragraph, it should inherit the attributes of the 
text around it. There was something or other fishy with that... please give your patch 
a workout around this before committing.
That was quite a while ago though. Wish I had better memory :-)
