One nice side effect is that things like Quote() and our definitions of converters will no longer need to have Unix and Win32 variants because we will 'operate on' a formal subset of the Bourne shell. Only at the very last instant, when we actually launch the child process will we convert this to something understandable by execvp, ChildProcess, WSH etc. I'll put together a patch after I've finished this 'copying of Xfig files' nonsense. -- Angus
