Hello,

is anybody working on a Qt version of LyX for the Win32 platform?

I tried to compile the LyX 1.3.4 sources with the latest cygwin
(includes g++ 3.3.1 and X11) but compilation failed due to unresolved
global constructor/destructor references during linking. (It seems to
be a compiler/linker error because the situation improves slighty if I
change option -O to -O3 (no, -O0 doesn't help either...)).

The reason why I ask is that I am wondering whether I should buy
the Qt book with the free and native Qt 3.2/Win non-commercial edition.
Has anybody tested it?

(If someone else is eager to do the Win32 port (Ruurd? Kuba?) and needs
the new Qt library for that purpose, I am willing to buy
the book for him)

Kind regards,

Michael
