These two statements are contradictory. If I edit a template, then I want my collaborator to use my edited template, no? The way to do that is to bundle the template with the document. Having said that, I think that external inset becomes powerful enough to shout about, so more templates would be good. Angus ps, your name seems to get ever-longer ;-)
