I didn't see you ask for that.

Anyway, it would no doubt be useless. I haven't kept up at all with the
changes into the two phase thing or whatever it is now. You can refer
back to the archives for exactly how I originally wanted things to work
before all the massive changes after, plus some code.

There are some cases where it would be very nice to have. In particular
newline inset. Wouldn't it be nice to have no special checks for that at
all?
