If you enable natbib in the document settings, no "\usepackage{natbib}"
header/preamble is included in the TeX document until you actually insert
an citation reference. This causes problems/errors when you have a
reference list but yet no references. I think the usepackage should be put
in the header/preamble as soon as the natbib option is enabled.CC me any replies. Henrik
