Hi Is there currently any way to place code in the preamble that can detect what the final result will be, and how it is produced? E.g. will the output be DVI(via latex), PDF(via DVI), PDF(via dvipdfm) and so on.
The situation I'm thinking of is that different "targets" and "translations" could benefit from different code in the preamble. Maybe we could have LyX add some code just before the preamble which sets a variable or something that indicates what the output format will be, and which translation mechanism that is used?
