Lars> No. (at least not without more decription/discussion) The is not much more to say than that: schuss: ll lib/layouts/elsart.layout -rwxr--r-- 1 lasgoutt preval 9660 Oct 14 11:30 lib/layouts/elsart.layout This extra 'x' does not really hurt, but it makes the file be highlighted by ls, for example. I could certainly remove the file and re-add it, but it seems a bit extreme to me. Would you prefer that I do just that? JMarc
