There are some really easy bugs (http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1318) some medium (http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1352) and some real stinkers (http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1340). They would be encouraged to contact the list first on choosing a feature request or bug to look at.
