Speaking for myself, I have been getting LyX's interaction with outside files to just work. I have no idea how many 'official' bugs I have squashed so far but am quite pleased that things are clearly a lot better than they were. I would argue that the fact that the resulting code is much easier to follow is not a coincidence... Angus
