Is this a bug in LyX or a problem with Xforms? Maybe this form_external.fd has been created with a too new/old version of fdesign?
I'm using xforms version 1.0.2, but I don't think that fdesign differs from the latest official release, or has it? I have then upgraded to latest Xforms/CVS, but still got exactly the same error.
