That it is a neat idea, add the screenshots to the timeline. That was not my
initial objective, but ok. I wanted to have all the images in one place to
make it easy to see the evolution of the user interface.

I was really surprised because I was able to compile older lyx versions
using xforms 1.0. The needed changes where very localized:

        * fl_set_object_resize looses the two last arguments to fl_set_object_gravity
        * fl_initialize has a different argument order, one is out in the process
        * fl_ask_question gets only one string instead of three and a new argument

As far as I understand those where made during the 0.81 -> 0.86 change.

Then I fixed some old-style c++ code. And that was all. I could not believe
when I saw the first instance of 0.7 popping in the window. :-)

I want to provide those patches, as Angus suggested in Chemnitz. The
ultra-frozen series, the only patches accepted are those needed for
compilation.

I thought about the concerns you posed in Chemnitz regarding lyx's
development, and I want to collect a global look in one place to help us
understand what is going on...

Ok, I see what you mean, those missing can be added later.

I'm sorry but I don't understand you here. Are you proposing to add dates
to the album or screenshots to the time line.
