Actually I have almost no qualms with the gtk patch and if I have any
it is the changes to configure and make system. What concerns me more
is the seldom visits by its author.

And if some gtk fantast :-) really wants this patch in, he should take
it up and sponsor it for inclusion and help even now, before it is
applied.
