A lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggg time ago. Almost from the start of the Qt thing. It's easy to reproduce (I can do so on all three, very different machines on which I run LyX). Open up a doc and scroll back and forth using the scrollbar. Eventually it'll appear. -- Angus
