Well, it may be because you are using the xforms frontend (and xforms doesn't let you resize to a smaller size than the original)? I can reproduce it with xforms starting lyx with a smaller window: ./lyx -geometry 80x100 and then doing the above Can someone else confirm? Regards, Alfredo
