Hmmm, I open the dialog; indeed, when I start typing immediately it goes
straight into the Reference field. At the first char, the buttons get
immediately activated!

Is this a bug in Xforms perhaps? What Xforms version do you have?
I myself use CVS/Xforms.

How sweet! As an opensource key developper of LyX, I would expect you
to care for things beyond.....

That's not the proper patch to the real problem: how do we eliminate the
blocking of reducing the initial size of an Xforms dialog?!?!
