I would like to suggest some improvements to Lyx. Could you see that the developer that handles these things gets my note? 1. ascii export should include all of the text in the document. It doesn't have to be formatted but it should be there. This means that the export fn should work from the buffer and not merely the latex file. 2. you should be able to cut a label-reference and paste it into the search and replace. 3. labels should handle any character the document does. I can presently use/print an o-umlaut or a o-accent-ague in a LyX doc. But if I use that character in a label, it prints as garbage. I really like LyX.
