I don't like it. It's confusing IMHO. 

1) you can have an arbitrary long string. At least cut the string after the
"..."
2) you don't show the end. ;^)

Are you sure? If you have a 100 pages first paragraph you put it all
toghether IMHO (with some '...' in the middle).
