Dear Members, I am a new entrant and let me confess that I am no developer. Then, why am I here? To request for support to my mother tongue, Tamil. There is a package at the website www.groups.yahoo.com/groups/tamilinix/files/apps/tamiltex. The package is created to bring tamil support to TeX. Since Lyx is (I suppose, I can term so) "(La)TeX with GUI", may I request the developers to help us to bring Tamil support to Lyx. Presently our developers are busy in bring Tamil support to KDE, Mozilla & Openoffice. GTK2 supports Tamil fully and I hope. QT3.2 will also along with mozilla1.4 If you people can help us, we can bring Tamil suppot to lyx too. I am open for all cooperation in this regard. Regards, Rajesh
