I have just compiled 1.3.1 with xforms default libraries and found that size of the binary file is almost double of the 1.2.2 release:
lyx-1.3.1/src/lyx 8.0M
lyx-1.2.2/src/lyx 4.4M
After stripping, size reduces to 7 M, that is still too much for my
laptop with 32 M ram.
Is that what is expected? Is there a way to build a 3-4 M binary executable?
