Well, I dunno if there's cases latex will fail to compile it, but
equally, I can't think of a case when it would be useful. In a normal
paragraph, it just ends up as extra vertical whitespace ignored by
llatex. In a chapter or whatever, you just get a number with no title.
So why should we add an extra check ?
