Sorry for being dumb (I'm risking another brick here), but I don't understand how this can work. If the name is unique globally, how can the client guess it? If the name is unique user-wise, won't another user be able to break your lyx by creating a file in tmp with the name of your pipe before you? And how will this work with multiple lyx at the same time? Thanks, Alfredo
