I have no idea on what you mean with "pre-quality"

As to my updating to pre-1_30_0 that is a move for us to both try the
new version before it is released and by doing so providing boost with
feedback so that we do not have to fix stuff in our version of boost
(or in our code) after 1_30_0 is finally released.

Note also that we are in a dev stage as well and that 1_30_0 is due
shortly.

To my knowledge now, but I am planning to push a bit on this. And
possibly to help out also.
