It wasn't for me... I just went back and checked... this help text has been there at least since 1.1.6fix3... and I've never noticed it. What I've been doing is to immediately type: lyx -dbg to get the list and then assumed that you have to OR the values to get what you want... > Anyway, what you want to change is in src/lyx_main.C, function parse_help().
