No, the only error I get is what I reported in the earlier mail.. is there a way to get more information on the error?? debian-powerpc is a forum that I'm on but usually it's for getting linux working on the powerpc.. not sure if they deal with code problems.. I'll check into it.. To answer Jean-Marc's qn - at the end of configure, it tells me that it's going to use Qt 3.0.7.. and I do compile with the option --with-qt-dir so I specify the Qt directory.. nirmal
