Hi, I'd like to report a problem that occurs when a file is exported in DVI format.
Although LyX generates a DVI file that displays correctly using KDVI, the references to figures in this file are generally prepended by the path to the temporary directory which was being used by the LyX file during the conversion, e.g., an included eps file called xxx.eps may appear in the output DVI file as /tmp/lyx_tmpdir38575VeOmD/lyx_tmpbuf0/_home_pereira_xxx.eps This happens even when the eps file is located in the same directory as the DVI file and the original LyX file. Consequently, it becomes difficult to generate a PS file (or a PDF file) from the generated DVI file, either by using dvips or by using another automatic conversion tool, like the new IEEE paper submission site.
