Press control-x please, then see if you can type a euro into the minibuffer. This bit works for me. I have a problem entering euros - if the language encoding is set in the document to latin9, I *still* get back encoding ISO 8859-1 from the lyxfont ! Can somebody explain this please, I'm lost here.
