This is what prepping for releases is... making sure the release
build, and that the different makefile targes work as expected...
srcdir == builddir, srcdir != builddir, qt xforms...
make distcheck
(which checks for dist,distdir,uninstall,distclean...)
I have earlier given up at least twice to get distcheck working
properly, it seems that I nailed it this time. Several small errors in
the makefiles have been fixed, some thing made clearer...
now I must make "make rpmdist" work...
