Maybe my doing. I had a similar item for ages in my "personal" copy of LyX. But maybe not. Why? Ever tried finding LaTeX errors using Error boxes that end up miles away from the places where they are supposed to be? Ever tried to get a somewhat decent .tex export when working with people not using LyX?
