You know all those irritating problems that we have parsing BibTeX databases...
You know about the really horrible mess that is the code that does the parsing... Attached is a first go at a script to generate a LyX buffer from a BibTeX database. It seems to work really well, although I'm sure that you lot will find things that it fails with. The idea is to store this generated .lyx file in a database accessible through the BibTeX inset. Ie, it won't be visible to the user, but he'll get things like pretty formatting of his natbib labels, display of the contents in the citation dialog and all for (almost) free. Regards, Angus
